More Questions

Luck hasn't been on our side so far. Carlos is still in the infirmary, Timberwolves are still stationed outside it, and the only one I have seen go in or out, is that weird fuck Corvin. I would say I am starting to think he is up to something, but a guy like that is always up to something, and it is never good.

But the bigger problem is that, even with Kruger's help, we haven't found anyone yet. Turns out most of the people who watched MarbleHornets with us haven't shown up at school yet. Slenderfuck was clearly very busy over Christmas break.... Fuck. You know, the worst part is, some of them are probably still alive, like we are. They probably bunkered down in their homes, or tried to get help from family. What kind of idiot would leave the safety of their own home, to go live in shitty dorms, especially when being stalked by that nightmare in a suit? Goddammit all. Looks like it is just going to be the three of us after all... Or... Shit, maybe Two, if they don't let Carlos out of there soon. Fuck it, I am making that a priority tomorrow. We need to find out what the hell Corvin is doing with Carlos in there.

As an aside, Elliot caught up to Kruger today. Kruger tells me Elliot gave him more or less the same treatment he gave me, questions, coffee and all. But something useful did come out of this, I think. Kruger asked Elliot about Kase's body, and Elliot mentioned that he already knew about the disappearance. Not only that, though... The Ambulance that was carrying Kase's body, and the body of that security officer, didn't make it back. It was found crashed on the side of the road, with the drivers and Kase's body missing. The security officer's body was left behind though, and was recovered. The last bit of information Elliot gave up, was that no one actually seems to know who was actually driving and riding in the EMS at the time. So something fucking weird is going on there too, and if it is related to Spinner or Slender Man, it might be useful to know.

Advice, anyone? Theories? Anything would be appreciated at this point.

Kruger's Alive

And surprisingly, he has a good explanation for where the fuck he's been the past two months. Fucking finally something is going our way, but sadly, Carlos hasn't been able to see it... One thing at a time. Lot of stuff happened... Uh... Bad News first I guess.

While I was recovering in our room, someone heard someone scratching at a door to one of the basement areas, and found Carlos bleeding from a head wound, shortly before passing out. I hear he's woken up by now, but the college isn't letting anyone him for some reason. Weirdly, some of those Timberwolf fratboys have been hanging out around the infirmary room they are keeping Carlos in, guarding the place or something. They wouldn't even let Kruger through, and he is part of the same damn fraternity. But it isn't just us being kept out. While we were scoping out the situation, we saw that Agent Elliot walk in, and come storming back out a couple minutes later. We couldn't hear what the "guards" told Elliot, but, seeing how Elliot never made it in to the room, it looks like they aren't even letting an FBI Agent through. I am pretty damn sure that is illegal, and bound to get someone in trouble, so we'll try and keep an ear open for what happens.

Now for the good/weird news. Kruger hasn't been killed by the Slender Man. In fact, he seemed pretty damn confused when I asked him if he has seen the Slender Man. He claims he hasn't seen the Slender Man, but he believes that Carlos and I have probably seen him. Why? Because that fucking Spider thing, The Spinner I guess, has been harassing him for the past three months, and given the shit he says he has seen, he is willing to believe about anything at this point.

All through Christmas break, he says, he has been seeing this big, black, spider/man thing with deep, dark eyes, watching him. He would wake up, and the damn thing would be on his wall, he would leave the house, and see it lurking in the trees. He also mentioned hearing a lot of shit at night, like someone moving around in his room a lot. There was even one instance where he woke up staring into what we presume to be Spinner's eyes, before Spinner shoved one of its hands down his throat, probably to keep him from screaming or something. Police couldn't find any trace of forced entry, or any sign of a giant bug man, but they did apparently try to arrest him for being on drugs.

I feel strangely validated in my decision to keep quiet about this mess...

Post-Christmas break, though... Apparently Spinner started to get increasingly hostile. He has the scars to prove it now. Parts of him look like someone has gone after him with a fucking machete. Apparently his house also caught fire in the middle of the night, and he only barely escaped through a window. It isn't hard to see why he wouldn't want to come directly back to College, with that shit going on. Though he did seem to figure that Kase's death had something to do with Spinner, hence why he is here now. He told me he wants to avenge Kase, and I agree. But we still don't know what actually killed him.

It's kind of weird, all things considered. We haven't found many, if any, of the missing students that Slender Man took. Maybe Spinner doesn't actually have anything to do with Slender Man? Kase's death is too different from all the ones that are mostly likely caused by Slendershit. But that isn't the only weird thing with Kase right now. The reason it took Kruger so long getting back here, is that he went to go find Kase's hometown, to pay his respects at Kase's grave. But it isn't there. Kruger asked around, and none of the locals had ever even heard of the guy. He tracked down where Kase said his house was, and it was up for sale. The neighbors said the family who lived there just... Up and moved out a few months ago. The cherry on the top is what Kruger found out when he made it back to town, here. He briefly dated this girl who was training to be a mortician, or something. The local Police unofficially employed her to be their morgue person, probably because she works for almost nothing, meaning she sees most of the dead bodies around here. According to her, Kase's body never made it to the morgue. She assumed it got shipped back to his hometown for some reason, but this was months ago. They would have buried him by now. So where is the grave?

So is this important? I have no fucking idea. But it is weird. And it definitely kept Kruger from getting here quickly. But better late than never, I guess. We can focus on the plan now. Kruger knew most of the people that were watching MarbleHornets with us, so he can find them easier than Carlos or I. So that is what this week is looking like. We find anyone else still alive, we band together, and we come up with a battle plan to kill the tall bastard, and that spider freak. This might be it... We might actually have a chance here.

But while I'm rambling... Why hasn't Kruger seen Slender Man? Hell, why can't he see Slender Man? I pointed him out in the distance today, and Kruger didn't seem to see him... I really don't get it. Kruger watched MarbleHornets at the same time as Carlos, Kase, Me and the others. So why isn't he being hunted? Not that I'm... Complaining or anything, you know. One less thing for him to worry about. If we can kill Spinner, he will be in the clear. Right? At least someone will survive, even if we... No. No, we will survive. Anything that lives can die, and human beings are the best killers there are.

And we'll prove it, even if it kills me.

Federal Agent

FBI Agent visited us today for a little chat. They are taking the disappearances, probably coupled with... Kase's murder... Pretty seriously. This Agent, Elliot he said his name was, seemed pretty polite, open minded. When I was brought in to his makeshift office, his desk was covered in this fancy coffee making stuff. The entire room itself smelled like coffee. He was an average looking guy, bright green eyes, brown hair, trace of a Dixie accent, which makes me think he might be a local, or from nearby.

It's... Kind of fun to try and guess stuff about people like that. But I digress.

He asked if I knew any of the missing people, or Jacob Kase. I told him that I really only knew of the missing people by reputation or seeing them once or twice, and that I was the one who called security to take Kase back to his room. I... Admit, I kind of spilled my guts a bit, about the guilt of that. Not like I need to be all depressed and pissy to Carlos, given what situation we're in together. Kind of felt nice in a way. He just kind of smiled, offered me coffee, and asked the same questions I had been asked before. I didn't bother changing my answers. I don't even know if Slender Man killed Kase, or if it might have been The Spinner. So I just told him that Kase was acting weird, like he was on drugs or something. Didn't even bother trying to taste the coffee when I drank it, I was so eager to just leave. I really didn't like lying about this, plus... I don't think I am a very good liar, which might make him suspect I am hiding something, which wouldn't be very helpful.

I finished the cup of coffee, and the Agent took it and started doing weird shit with it, dumping the grounds onto the saucer and staring at it with a weird expression. He asked me about the missing people, and I told him that the last time I saw them was Halloween. That we were all watching MarbleHornets together. He then asked me if I had seen any of them since, or if I had heard anything. I told him no. He just kept staring at the coffee grounds like a weirdo. But I did tell him... MarbleHornets. If he looks into that... He might get infected, I guess? But maybe the government will listen to him? He is an FBI Agent, so that means his word might actually be taken into consideration. Maybe getting the Government involved might solve something?

Or maybe I just indirectly killed a man. Or maybe he won't give a shit about the fucking video we were watching four months ago. Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck I hate this so goddamn much. I don't have a real plan, Carlos doesn't have a real plan! We don't know what to do... And what happens when he stops fucking around with us? He could kill us at any time, and we couldn't do anything to stop it. We're just waiting to fucking die here. Is there anything we can do? Anything?

Coping

Visited Kruger today, in the Timberwolf house. I gotta admit, I figured there would be a little more mourning there, instead of what I saw. Kruger seemed to be the only one really torn up about it, or even really thinking about it. The others who actually noticed one of their own had been violently killed, seemed to just take it as an excuse to get drunk in Kase's "honor." Disgusting, stupid, bastards. But some of them were even worse about it. I seriously think a few of these idiots believe in that crap about "The Spinner" from back near Halloween. Apparently, Kase's offering was the one that wasn't as substantial as it should have been, or something. What, did he not give enough alcohol to the scary spider god? Some of these Timberwolf assholes even started insinuating that Kase died because of this, and that Carlos and I could be next, because we were Kase's "Guests" during the ritual. Morons. Thinking about asking someone why this school is allowing a legitimate cult to run around spouting threats like that.

Kruger wasn't doing too good though. Pretty sure he was High on something when we found him. He started reminiscing about Kase with Carlos. Pranks that were pulled, funny little stories, all the meaningful bits of life, at the end of it all. He was apparently even helping Carlos out with more complicated magic tricks. I do feel kind of bad for not joining in, but... Like I said yesterday, it's just digging around in an open wound. They cope by talking about old times, I cope by just shutting up and moving on.

Dead. Dead Again.

Doctor Despinos wants me to continue typing up my feelings and thoughts about things on here. What kind of thoughts and feelings does he fucking expect?!?! I just got two people killed! We don't even know by what, but it looked like a goddamn BEAR got to the Officer! Kase at least wasn't completely mangled...

God fucking dammit...

Their bodies were found near the creek. Dragged by something. I don't know many more details beyond just hearsay. Fuck... I talked to the cops, of course. They think it was an animal... Goddammit. God Dammit. Fuck. What the hell else could I have done? Gone with them? Helped to escort them to the Timberwolf house? I would probably also be laying dead by the creek... But it was me who got Campus Security and sent Kase back... Fuck. If I had just waited a bit longer... Or sooner... FUCK... If I had done ANYTHING other than what I did... That is three people now, that have died because of my stupid decisions. What the fuck should I do? What is the right thing to do in this situation... Always do the right thing, isn't that supposed to be how it is? So what do I do?

Kase

Time for Drama of the day. Jacob Kase finally paid us a visit. Poor guy looked like he got hit by a...

Point is, he looked bad. Smelled like he hadn't taken a shower in a while, and the circles under his eyes told a pretty obvious story. My only question was if he was high or not. He was acting... Jittery and paranoid, but he kept swearing he wasn't on anything. He started asking us a bunch of weird questions. "Have you caught anyone following you around?" "Have you been having weird dreams?" "Have you seen anyone just staring at you from a distance?" Stuff like that. All the while, he was constantly peeking out the window and into the hallway, looking for something.

"No Kase, not beyond the usual." Was Carlos' main response to all three. Mine too, but that was, obviously, a lie, for at least two of the questions. My dreams are unrelated, that much is for certain, though I do have to wonder... Is Mr. Slender Suit stalking Kase around? Is that why he was acting all paranoid like this? I sure as hell hope not... Still, better safe than sorry. I mentioned the possibility of someone stalking Kase to Campus Security, and they escorted Kase back to the Timberwolf house. He was pretty reluctant to go, but I convinced him that it would be for the best. Poor guy. I wonder if Kruger even knows about this? Maybe Mr. Slender Wannabe was one of the people I didn't know who watched MarbleHornets with us? Kruger might know something that could help.

We'll probably go check on Kase tomorrow, and find Kruger a little later.

Families

Thanksgiving is nearly upon us. Was hanging out with Carlos, Kase and Kruger and they all started talking about it. Carlos seems pretty happy about seeing his family. His full, extended family. So they seem to be pretty tight knit, supportive and fond of one another. Sounds like a dream family. Really is a good creed to have. "Family above all." I mean, who can you rely on if not your family? They are your everything, and you give everything you have for them. Do everything to ease conflict and make it all work. Because it can all work, everyone just has to put in the effort. You know? Anything can be fixed, if you just... Say the right things, do the right things.

As for Kruger and Kase, Kruger seemed more interested in the food his family was going to make for Thanksgiving. Some kind of family recipe for a pudding. Kase was unusually quiet, even for him, about the whole thing. Evidently his family is pretty large like Carlos', but spread very far apart. Which means they don't really bother celebrating Thanksgiving together. Still, seemed like there was something bothering him, but I didn't feel like it was my place to pry.

As for Me? Of course I kept quiet about Thanksgiving. It'll just be me, The Judge, Mom and Dad. I just hope I can leave early.

Halloween

Halloween. That means Halloween parties. That means Social time. That means I have to keep to my promise to Judge. Evidently most of the people at this college don't realize that Halloween costumes are supposed to be scary. They seem to prefer slutty, racist, or stupid. I went as a half-assed Jason Voorhees, while Carlos went as a stereotypical magician. Loads of fun, the food was shit and the anonymity of the mask was comforting. Still, guess who else was there? Kruger and Kase. Could this be friendship, Future-Me? Probably not. The Timberwolves have started referring to Carlos and me as "Timberpups" or "Wilykit and Wilykat" because Wolves = ThunderCats, for some reason.

Kruger and Kase were dressed as "Dollface Mask Guy" and"Guy in Yellow Hoodie with a Black thing on his face" respectively. According to them, they were dressed as "Masky" and "Hoody" from a web-series called MarbleHornets. Some kind of Blair Witch style horror series, about a Really Tall Guy in a suit who stares at you. It didn't sound too scary, really. So Kase pulled up a video and soon the four of us, plus a few others I didn't know, were watching the series. It was pretty good, honestly. We didn't watch it all, though, just about 25 Videos or so. Kase mentioned it was fairly inaccurate, and Kruger clarified that there was entire little corner of the internet dedicated to stories about the thing "The Operator" was based off of, called The Slender Man. Some kind of child eating monster with no face. The Operator looks like it and acts like it, but doesn't really... Well... Operate like it. Might be something to dig into next Halloween.

Next big Holiday is Thanksgiving, I guess, which I am not looking forward to.

Why do Wolves Worship a Spider?

So, it turns out that Carlos has made some buddies in the Timberwolves. Victor Kruger and Jacob Kase, are their names. I've seen them around, but don't really know them personally. Kruger is a strong looking guy with a perpetual mean look, and weird colored brown hair and hazel eyes, while Kase is a smaller, thinner dark haired guy who seems pretty quiet for a Timberwolf. Anyway, they invited Carlos to a bonfire gathering at 3 AM, and decided I could come too. Well. I promised the Judge.

It wasn't really a... Party though. I mean, I had heard of some of the really weird shit that the Timberwolves did and the College allowed for some reason. In this case, it was the Annual offering to The Spinner. What is the Spinner? I have no idea. Kase told me it was an urban legend with several different supposed origin stories. Most of the Wolves basically treat it like a religion worshiping Spider-Man. There were about a 100 people at the bonfire, and some of them were even wearing black robes with the hoods up. It would have looked very cult-y if most of them weren't completely shitfaced and trying to scare their friends by sneaking up on them in masks with the robes. Still, I gotta admit being a little creeped out by the couple of them in the robes that were treating this seriously. Most of them had Flashlights, except for a couple of guys close to the bonfire, who had actual torches.

So, the Bonfire is supposed to be a sacrifice to the Spinner, to keep him from... Exacting bloody vengeance of some shit. The way Kase explained it, I don't think anyone in the Wolves actually really knows why they do this little ritual every year. Not that they do it right anyway. Kase said they don't know what the offering is supposed to be, so they just kind of throw in old clothes, monopoly money, booze bottles, food and any old shit they don't want. There IS a set volume though, and the "High Priest" or whatever he was supposed to be, noticed it. Apparently, this year, someone's offering portion was smaller than it needed to be. High Priest Guy asked that person to step forward or suffer The Spinner's wrath and anger. No one did, and the Wolves started making death jokes.
During all this Carlos was busy helping Kruger with emptying his booze bottle offering. I was ready to leave, honestly.

But then the High Priest guy kind of shrugged and started throwing shit into the fire. I did ask Kase why the school allows this stuff, and he told me he doesn't know. But he did point out that one of the friggen School Board members was at the bonfire. Thomas Corvin who, if I recall, is a stupidly rich guy who owns the majority of the county. Still, I don't quite think supporting a pseudo-cult is something he supposed to be doing, so I really have to wonder why he was here. According to Kase, he never went to this college, so... I dunno. The whole thing just felt off to me.

Starting to rethink my promise of becoming more social, if this is how people are.
