Beneath the Earth

Guys, we did it. We actually won a victory today over that son of a bitch who was drugging us.

I don't know what the bastard's plan was, but it failed. Really, I don't know how it could have succeeded, all things considered. We were just settling down to go to sleep, so we could continue sweeping the area for Kruger, when that sweet smell filled the air. We aren't as dumb as you think, jackass. We immediately knew who it was and what was coming. It... Still affected us, a bit... But it was just a hallucination. The Faceless fucker is a monster, but Spinner is just a guy. He kicked open the door, and... Just for a second we just stared at the hallucination. Those eyes... If... When I make it out of this, I think those eyes are going to stick with me for as long as I live... Darkness just doesn't get more black than that.

Or so I thought at the time.

He rushed at Carlos, probably trying to take him like he did Kruger, but I managed to intercept him and got him good where I think his head was. I guess.. The Gas made me think he made this screeching sound at me, and he backed off into the hall. Carlos ran after him, and so did I. I don't know if the pain in my knuckles, after hitting him that hard, made me shake off the hallucinogen faster, but as we chased him out of the building into the night, I felt my mind gain clarity. I could see that what we were chasing was not a Spider Monster, but just a guy in a padded hoodie, with a weird mask. He was fucking fast though, but not as fast as he thought he was. He would slip around some corners and stop to check if we were still following. And we were.

Some of Corvin's Timberwolves found us and tried to stop Spinner, but he apparently had some kind of gas sprayer in his sleeve, and hit them with a face-full of that shit he used on us. I could hear the Timberwolves screaming, as we chased Spinner into the theater room. He made a beeline for the stage, and activated one of the same fucking trapdoors we use for Carlos' act... Now that I think about it, that Anonymous douchebag commenter did mention he watched our act. Maybe he wasn't in the audience after all...

Like I said before, there was an entire basement level under that stage. It turns out, it wasn't as unused as I thought it was. Spinner ran through the place like he knew it well, but we had no idea what the layout was like. It didn't take us long to lose him. The black clothes and mask made him blend in good with the dark, and we didn't bring flashlights. As we searched for him, we realized that going down here without a light source would be a really bad idea. So we had no choice but to head back up and grab some flashlights. Carlos wanted to get Agent Elliot... And he was probably right... But I didn't want to risk Spinner slipping away. I wanted to end this shit there and then.

Well, obviously I didn't, but we did find something fucking insane.

After about thirty minutes of checking every nook and cranny, we noticed a trap-door behind some boxed, almost covered with a rug. It was unlocked, so we opened it and crawled in. You would not believe what was down there... I can't really bring myself to fully believe it myself. There was an entire ruined... Temple, or... Fucking... Authentic as shit Haunted House, Castle, thing. There were mostly unlit torches along the walls at the end of the moderately short ladder down into a stone staircase. It was a blackish stone, or very dark gray, and it wasn't natural, that was for sure. It looked carved. But... I'm not, a mason or anything. The end of the winding staircase down into the darkness, opened up into a larger area filled with oddly new looking wooden benches. There was a large doorway at the end of the room, as well as a long empty looking tunnel off to the right side, coming in. The darkness inside it looked... Unnatural, would be the only way to describe it.

Three things were noticeable in this room, aside from the doors and benches. The first, was that it was absolutely infested with insects. Big insects. Roaches were scuttling around the ground, feeding on the corpses of other dead bugs. The air was alive with buzzing and fluttering, but it was still too dark to really tell what kind of bugs were flying around. Spiders were everywhere, in nearly every corner and around nearly every bench, and some of them looked like fucking tarantulas, in how big they were. The really bizarre thing, is that none of those flying insects landed on us. All the insects in the room seemed to keep at a distance, and it was... Like they cleared a path for us, when we walked near. The second noticeable thing, was that there were still burning torches in places, almost making the flashlights unnecessary, in places. But just outside the light, the darkness was thick and deep, almost seeming to eat up the light we shined into it. I just... Know... They were infested with more of those spiders and insects. And maybe other things...

The third... Noticeable thing... Was what made us decide to leave early, without finding Spinner... There was this... Big Statue in the center of the room. Of a Spider. With a fucking human face on it. The expression was one of... Doubt, I guess, or inquiry. It was... Lovingly detailed. Hairy, and the joints on the legs made it almost look like it could come to life at any second. Everything about it made me feel wrong. I mean... The whole place had me feeling like I shouldn't be there... But that statue was a fucking abomination. The way the insects moved around it...

I'm just... Not going to talk about it anymore. We left almost immediately upon seeing the thing, not even bothering to explore the other areas of that place. Elliot was waiting for us outside of our Room.

We told him what happened, and we told him that the guy in the black mask and hoodie ran down a trap door in the basement of the Theater building. What happens next is up to him, I guess... Hopefully he will take care of Spinner. So we can focus on The Slender Man at long last.

You guys in the comments know more stuff than me, and I... Gotta know. What the fuck did we find down there?

Fuckery

The past six days... Have not gone well.

Five days ago... God... Kruger visited our room. I don't know why, he never got the chance to tell us. Just that he looked pissed, and said he found out something. Then I heard Carlos yell, and I turned and... Slenderfuck was here. Close now... Man... I think.... I think the end is close now... Kinda grateful to be honest, if it would just fucking happen already... Kruger walked in, right past him. He didn't see... He looked around the room. Carlos and I were paralyzed... Or... Mesmorized or something. Deer in the fucking headlights. Its happened before, but the reaction is almost always the same. But we were broken out of the trance by the sound of glass shattering, and Kruger screaming. There was a guy in the window, dressed in what looked like a black hoodie, with the hood up, wearing a black, almost featureless, mask with two giant darker black spots for eyes. He was pulling Kruger through the window, and jabbed a needle into his neck that made him go limp... I tried moving. I tried. I really did... But that faceless bastard just wouldn't let me go... Some others from outside the hall came running in at the sound broken glass, and I remember looking at them for a moment. I looked back, and He was gone. Carlos had already rushed the window... But Spinner and Kruger were gone.

And we still don't know where they are. Five days later. We've been looking. Elliot has been looking, hell Corvin's timberwolf-cult fuckers are looking, apparently. Not a goddamn trace, and no one noticed the masked son of a bitch carrying an unconscious guy through a crowded campus.

And that's been my week. Well... I guess I should probably mention the three week disappearance. Godfuckingdammit. Carlos was missing too. No one had any idea where we were, but the Timberwolves were out looking for us in the woods, and apparently Corvin was blocking Elliot from telling anyone about it, or so Elliot told me, anyway. Someone in Washington is apparently drowning him in paperwork, and his superiors don't seem to want him here anymore, despite the deaths and disappearances. So, Corvin is probably moving money around to keep this shit as hidden as possible. Meaning our disappearance went unreported by anyone but Elliot, and it was promptly ignored by everyone who could possibly help. Kruger meanwhile was working on "something" while we were gone. Probably the same something he was going to talk to us about...

We're going to keep looking... Its all we can do, at this point. Better in fucking Corvin's hands than Spinner's. I think.

New Revelations

This was a very, very, dumb idea. Corvin, being obscenely wealthy, has a manor with guards in it. And for some reason I thought it was a good idea to march right up to the gate and not expect something bad to happen. Still... I guess it went better than it could have. I mean, obviously, right? I'm still alive here, after all.

I drove in Carlos' car to Corvin Manor. I think I heard that his family helped found this town, and have lived in the manor ever since. It looked pretty nice, honestly. I walked right by a lily garden, on my way to the front porch where I was greeted the Butler guy, who never gave his name, now that I think about it. He seemed to take after his master with the creepy smile he gave me when greeting me. He was tall, dark haired, 30 something year old looking man with a deep voice and british-y accent. I told him I needed to see Mister Corvin about a very important matter, and that he would probably know what it was. I think I meant it as a threat.

"Ah, of course. Please, come inside and we'll try to find Master Corvin." He stood aside and I went in. "You must forgive me, my dear boy, I am a fairly new member of this illustrious household, after the tragic passing of my predecessor two months ago. I don't quite know Master Corvin's schedule by heart yet, but he does tend to linger in his little museum downstairs, please follow me closely." He took off at a brisk pace towards a marble staircase leading down.

The house was fancy as shit. Pictures everywhere, old clocks, that depressing dark color scheme old houses seem to love, and equally depressing looking carpets. Lots of purple, which is a color I don't particularly like. At least they were clean. The staircase was kind of jarring to look at because it was pure white marble, including the walls, compared to the dark colors of the rest of the house.

I paused a bit to take in my surroundings, just in case, and Butler Guy turned around and snapped at me. "Follow closely, sir. Guests should not linger in the most patrolled areas of the house. The guards are a... might bit twitchy thanks to their... Um... Supplements."

"What kind of supplements?" I asked, looking at one of the guards. He was friggen enormous. Like some kind of steroid nightmare, with these glassy, reddish eyes with extremely dilated pupils. If I didn't know better, and I still don't, I would say they were on some kind of cocaine/steroid mix. Just the way they were moving around and looking at things, reminded me of someone on serious amounts of cocaine, but their eyes looked even more fucked up than what I've seen before.

"Just a little... Performance enhancer. It doesn't do wonders for their already limited personalities though, so I would recommend a degree of caution and lack of eye contact, at least until we find Master Corvin. They won't disobey him. They can't, in fact." He gave a dark chuckle and lead me down the staircase.

At this point, I had realized what a big fucking mistake I had just made. I was here to confront Corvin about his spying. In his own home. Surrounded by his armed guards. I did not fucking think this through at all, so I was thanking God when Corvin wasn't in the Museum floor.

"Hmmm... Master Corvin isn't here? Such a pity. I suppose we should wait here, then, for him to arrive, as he is bound to show up soon, given his affection for the artifacts within this place." That Butler said to me.

"Artifacts" is one way of putting it. It was an extremely bizarre "museum." The tall room was adorned with paintings on the walls, of faces and unrecognizable places, one displaying a giant spider with a human face, and another showing a total solar Eclipse. I felt on edge just looking at them. But then you have the weirder things. There were glass cases with an assortment of random items inside, like a Femur bone covered in weird unreadable sigils, or an old syringe filled with this strange looking fluid that gave me a headache just to look at. It seemed very familiar somehow. There were an assortment of Books, some old, some new looking and some even looking like notebooks. In the middle of the room was this small garden, with a large sapling tree growing out of it.

It looked like one of those trees from that Place, but different... It might have just been a bizarre mutation of the bark, but it looked like ugly infected flesh was growing through the twisted bark.

On the opposite side of the room from the Glass cases were the larger objects in the Museum. One of them was a big silvery mirror with pearls along the sides, reflecting the entire room. It looked very... Clear. Well polished. But something about the reflection bugged me, though I couldn't tell you what. There was also a large, battered, old piano that seemed to be in the middle of repairs. But then was, again, the weird stuff. The Piano was surrounded by what looked like camping materials, covered in dry old blood. But the weirdest thing in the entire collection had to have been the big Black Van with "Free Candy" on the side of it, next to the Piano and camping supplies.

There was also a big gold Egyptian sarcophagus. I went up to it and stared at it for a moment.

"That one" came a voice from behind me. "Was a gift from my friends in Noctis Custodes, for helping them with their legal and financial needs." I turned around and saw Corvin coming down the stairs grinning at me. "It is said to contain the body of the High Priest Kemseti, who made a pact with a being of golden smokeless fire, thousands of years ago." He walked up beside me and pointed at the picture of an Eclipse. "That piece was a gift from my old friend Albert Conaghan, by an obscure painter named Gertrude Adalinda, who went insane and killed herself shortly after painting it." He walked over to the Mirror adorned with Pearls. "This... Was a gift from my mentor, Silas Marsh, crafted out of silver from Persia. The Pearls are said to be the crystallized eggs from the Mother of Serpents herself. Every owner before Silas met with a... Less than pleasant fate." He then smiled and pointed towards the sapling in the middle. "That? That is one of the few surviving saplings rescued from an old town out West, where the inhabitants worshiped strange beings and all just... Vanished two and a half years ago."

I finally recovered from my shock. "Mister... Corvin..." I don't think I did a good job at hiding my nervousness.

"Well hello there, Jeremy." He said, spreading his arms wide as if wanting a hug or something. "Welcome to my humble home. You could have just called, you know, I gave you that number for a reason." He said with smile.

"Well, I uh... May have misplaced it, sir." I sputtered. This was not looking good. This was a big fucking mistake.

Corvin shrugged a bit, happily. "It happens." He turned his grin towards that Butler. "You know, guests are typically sent to wait in the foyer, not the museum. Certain things down here might unsettle the poor boy."

That Butler bowed his head. "My sincerest apologies, sir, but the dear boy was quite insistant that he talk to you right away. In fact, he looked rather like had something important to tell you. So I brought him here, in the hopes that we might find you reading. Alas, it seems you were elsewhere..."

Corvin glanced at me with an expression of mock surprise. "Important? Oh, of course... What can I do for you Jeremy? Did your detective work turn up something helpful in your room?" My eyes, meanwhile were locked on three guards marching down the stairs, who were giving me a bad look. I say again. This was one of the worst ideas I have ever had.

"Uh... N-No sir. I just... Well, I did find something you might be... Interested in?" I was stammering.

He smirked at that Butler, before smiling back at me. "Oh do tell."

"The... Um... The disappearing students. They have something to do with Jacob Kase's death. Carlos and I and Victor Kruger, we've all been seeing this... Thing around. We think its the Spinner. That thing you and the Timberwolves had a bonfire for a few months ago." I hoped I could distract him from the Camera issue.

He started giggling and almost jumping around. "Oh I knew it. I was right, like always. Ha HA. Yes, yes. So that's what he was doing. And you all three saw it? The same hallucinations. Oh, he is Good. Oh yes, we need to find him. I might even offer him a job..."

"What the FUCK are you talking about?" I kind of lost my temper at being laughed at like that.

He stopped and gave me what I think was a sympathetic smile. "You still don't get it? That nosy FBI Agent even gave you a hint. Didn't you notice the smell in your Fridge? Sweet wasn't it? I've smelled it before in certain kinds of incense, during my visits to Africa. Breathing the incense was supposed to sort of... Unlock your mind into a different plane of existence. In other words, it causes severe hallucinations." He giggled more.

"Incense?" Maybe Carlos could find out more about it. Incenses and Magic shit are kind of his thing.

"It doesn't take much, but that isn't how it was happening to you. This is the interesting part. Our mysterious friend in black is using the oil form of it. Heehee. Those cameras you found? They were recording everything. Late at night, this person wearing all black with a strange mask would slip in your room or window, and drug your food and drinks. I don't know who it is, though, but I would very much like to find out. If he's using the incense I think he is, it shouldn't last that long or work when dissolved in soda or water. Isn't this exciting? Who knows what else he might know!"

I couldn't believe this shit. Corvin knew this entire fucking time, and he is only now telling me? Come to think of it, why the hell is he telling me?

"Why didn't you stop this if you knew?"

He shrugged and walked over to one of the cases containing a notebook with the name Mitch Lapierre on it, opening the case up. "Call it curiosity." He flipped to a page with some drawings and dried blood on it, and showed it to me. I recognized it immediately. Slender Man. "You have been seeing this entity, haven't you?"

I backed up towards that Butler, ready to run. "Are you a... Proxy?"

He looked confused for a moment. "I don't... Think so? I confess, I don't quite know what that is. I only know about this 'Slender Man' by reputation. He has never appeared before me, despite the fact, I hear, that it only takes learning about him to cause him to being stalking you." He put the notebook back in the case. "So what is a Proxy, hmm? Better yet, what is it about you, Jeremy? You, your friend Carlos, Victor Kruger, Jacob Kase... Why are you blessed with His appearance, when I am not? Why do you get to see the proof I have so longed for. That... Sweet validation, that all these years of study and obsession, of rituals and the ridicule have been worth something. That I was right, all along, despite everything. Tell me, what makes you so special?" His voice had become angry, but the amount of stupidity coming out his mouth was making me even angrier.

"Look you dumb son of a bitch. If you want to trade places with me, by all means do it. I don't want this, you haven't seen the shit I have. This monster is the most horrifying thing a human mind could ever comprehend, and you want to meet it? Is that why you've been watching us?"

He smirked at me. "Only part of the reason, my boy. You'll see the rest soon enough, I promise you. Ah... But for now, I have very important matters to attend to. We'll save the Q&A for later. Feel free to tell Mr. Kruger and you little magician buddy Carlos all about our conversation... But if you mention so much as a word of this to that FBI Agent, you may very well wake up as a guest in our special quarters, attended to by these fine gentlemen." He gestured towards his Guards who continued to glare at me through glassy eyes. He then looked to that Butler. "Would you kindly see him out?"

That Butler smiled in response and bowed. "Oh, it would be my pleasure, sir."

I left without a word. What the hell could I say? I wasn't about to risk provoking Corvin anymore than I already had. I have enough trouble with Spinner, or... Whoever it is, and Slender Man. I'm gonna sleep on it and discuss everything more with Carlos and Kruger tomorrow. This has changed things, and maybe for the better?

Corvin's Cleaning Crew

Of course it was him.

So, after Carlos was discharged from the hospital, we came back to find that the College had sent some people to clean up the broken window and walls. Coincidentally, I'm sure, after tearing down part of the walls ourselves, we found that the Cameras were all gone. At that point, all doubt in my mind had vanished about who put them there and when.

Elliot came by and just helped confirm it for me. Apparently after using his FBI Badge to force his way into the Security office, he found out that certain students rooms were being monitored. This is highly illegal, for starters.

Corvin. Corvin, Corvin, Fucking Corvin. Now we have three fucking stalkers, and Corvin might just be the creepiest. But Elliot can't arrest him. Why? I don't know, and apparently neither does he, given how pissed off he seemed when I asked him about it. He didn't exactly explain himself, but I'm guessing one of his bosses won't let him just arrest Corvin for some reason.

And no, he didn't find Spinner. I asked him why he didn't shoot Spinner on sight, and he just told me that he doesn't like killing people when he doesn't absolutely have to.

Which is all well and good, until it causes a murderous monster from getting away...

I think I'm going to go have a talk with Corvin about this. I know Proxies, or whatever, are involved with this somehow. Maybe he's one of them? Would make a bit of sense, yeah?

Hidden Cameras

So... Late last night, Carlos and I were debating what to do for the millionth time. We really don't have many options, so we like to go over the potential ones we do have. All of sudden there was this big change in the air. Carlos was burning some incense to make him feel better, so the change was pretty obvious. The incense was very... Bitter smelling. I fucking hated it. But there was this new smell, and it was very sweet. We didn't really think too much of it, but Carlos decided to open the door and see if someone was smoking something outside. The smell was fucking overpowering. Carlos was almost stumbling to the door...

I didn't really notice what happened next until I heard a thud and saw Carlos drop. I looked at the open door and saw the outline that... Black Shape, contorting its many limbs in disgusting ways. I didn't even have time to react before it rushed me, slamming my head against the wall again, hard... But he wasn't so lucky this time, it didn't knock me out though I couldn't really move or focus... Spinner didn't try to finish me off though... Instead, he started smashing into a poster on the wall, frantically bashing at it with one of his limbs. I started looking around for anything to hit the fucker with, while he was distracted, but I guess my movement caught his attention. He stopped, and turned around to look at me with those empty black holes for eyes. We just... Stared at each other for a minute. I didn't know what to do... I have no idea why it didn't attack. Then I heard Elliot's voice come from the hall yelling "What the hell?"

Spinner smashed the window open as Elliot came charging in with his glock out, coughing but yelling oddly enough for Spinner to freeze before that monster jumped out the window. I don't know why he didn't just shoot something like that. He told me to call an ambulance for Carlos, and followed Spinner out the window. I never heard any gunshots, so I don't think he found Spinner.

But I haven't even got to the weird part yet.

The EMS guys arrived and picked up Carlos, who was unconscious. I made a point to ask their names, just in case. But while we were waiting, and I recovered from the... Shock I guess... I noticed something about the section of the wall Spinner was smashing. There was something in the hole. A Camera, and I could see through the wires that were stretching around the room in the walls, that there were even more fucking cameras around. Spinner didn't fucking put them there, so who did?

He asked rhetorically.

I have a good idea who, actually. But first, I'd like to talk about it with Agent Elliot. See if I can't get some information out of him about a related matter.

If he's alive, I mean. I haven't seen him since he jumped out the window after Spinner. I don't even know why he was in this building so late at night. But I mean... No gunshots either way. I would think he would've at least gotten off one if he found Spinner or Spinner found him. I hope something bad didn't happen... He is about the closest thing to an ally we have around here, I think...

Carlos is... Fine. According to the hospital, he has a mild concussion, and that's about it. Hell, I think he actually got off easier than I did when Spinner slammed my head... Why the fuck isn't he just killing us already? Why the hell did he bash open the wall like that? Did he want the Cameras? Did he want us to see the Cameras? Fuck, why can't anything be simple...

Kruger's Alive

And surprisingly, he has a good explanation for where the fuck he's been the past two months. Fucking finally something is going our way, but sadly, Carlos hasn't been able to see it... One thing at a time. Lot of stuff happened... Uh... Bad News first I guess.

While I was recovering in our room, someone heard someone scratching at a door to one of the basement areas, and found Carlos bleeding from a head wound, shortly before passing out. I hear he's woken up by now, but the college isn't letting anyone him for some reason. Weirdly, some of those Timberwolf fratboys have been hanging out around the infirmary room they are keeping Carlos in, guarding the place or something. They wouldn't even let Kruger through, and he is part of the same damn fraternity. But it isn't just us being kept out. While we were scoping out the situation, we saw that Agent Elliot walk in, and come storming back out a couple minutes later. We couldn't hear what the "guards" told Elliot, but, seeing how Elliot never made it in to the room, it looks like they aren't even letting an FBI Agent through. I am pretty damn sure that is illegal, and bound to get someone in trouble, so we'll try and keep an ear open for what happens.

Now for the good/weird news. Kruger hasn't been killed by the Slender Man. In fact, he seemed pretty damn confused when I asked him if he has seen the Slender Man. He claims he hasn't seen the Slender Man, but he believes that Carlos and I have probably seen him. Why? Because that fucking Spider thing, The Spinner I guess, has been harassing him for the past three months, and given the shit he says he has seen, he is willing to believe about anything at this point.

All through Christmas break, he says, he has been seeing this big, black, spider/man thing with deep, dark eyes, watching him. He would wake up, and the damn thing would be on his wall, he would leave the house, and see it lurking in the trees. He also mentioned hearing a lot of shit at night, like someone moving around in his room a lot. There was even one instance where he woke up staring into what we presume to be Spinner's eyes, before Spinner shoved one of its hands down his throat, probably to keep him from screaming or something. Police couldn't find any trace of forced entry, or any sign of a giant bug man, but they did apparently try to arrest him for being on drugs.

I feel strangely validated in my decision to keep quiet about this mess...

Post-Christmas break, though... Apparently Spinner started to get increasingly hostile. He has the scars to prove it now. Parts of him look like someone has gone after him with a fucking machete. Apparently his house also caught fire in the middle of the night, and he only barely escaped through a window. It isn't hard to see why he wouldn't want to come directly back to College, with that shit going on. Though he did seem to figure that Kase's death had something to do with Spinner, hence why he is here now. He told me he wants to avenge Kase, and I agree. But we still don't know what actually killed him.

It's kind of weird, all things considered. We haven't found many, if any, of the missing students that Slender Man took. Maybe Spinner doesn't actually have anything to do with Slender Man? Kase's death is too different from all the ones that are mostly likely caused by Slendershit. But that isn't the only weird thing with Kase right now. The reason it took Kruger so long getting back here, is that he went to go find Kase's hometown, to pay his respects at Kase's grave. But it isn't there. Kruger asked around, and none of the locals had ever even heard of the guy. He tracked down where Kase said his house was, and it was up for sale. The neighbors said the family who lived there just... Up and moved out a few months ago. The cherry on the top is what Kruger found out when he made it back to town, here. He briefly dated this girl who was training to be a mortician, or something. The local Police unofficially employed her to be their morgue person, probably because she works for almost nothing, meaning she sees most of the dead bodies around here. According to her, Kase's body never made it to the morgue. She assumed it got shipped back to his hometown for some reason, but this was months ago. They would have buried him by now. So where is the grave?

So is this important? I have no fucking idea. But it is weird. And it definitely kept Kruger from getting here quickly. But better late than never, I guess. We can focus on the plan now. Kruger knew most of the people that were watching MarbleHornets with us, so he can find them easier than Carlos or I. So that is what this week is looking like. We find anyone else still alive, we band together, and we come up with a battle plan to kill the tall bastard, and that spider freak. This might be it... We might actually have a chance here.

But while I'm rambling... Why hasn't Kruger seen Slender Man? Hell, why can't he see Slender Man? I pointed him out in the distance today, and Kruger didn't seem to see him... I really don't get it. Kruger watched MarbleHornets at the same time as Carlos, Kase, Me and the others. So why isn't he being hunted? Not that I'm... Complaining or anything, you know. One less thing for him to worry about. If we can kill Spinner, he will be in the clear. Right? At least someone will survive, even if we... No. No, we will survive. Anything that lives can die, and human beings are the best killers there are.

And we'll prove it, even if it kills me.

Night Visitor

Today I woke up hanging from a tree.

I... Can't fucking remember what happened... Not... Completely... I have a giant ass bruise to show why, I think...

I remember it was... The middle of the night, and I woke up to the sound of knocking. So I got up and went to go answer the door. I must have been... Really tired or something, because I was staggering around, and it took me a few tries to open the door... When I did I saw this... Thing. Jet Black and covered in a hard shell, with many arms and this face that... Looked like nothing I had ever seen before, at least up close, or could adequately describe... It had these black holes for eyes, sucking in the light around it. I couldn't even react before it grabbed my head, with those fucking disgusting long fingers, and slammed my head into the door frame.

I know I hit the ground, and the last thing I saw before all the light faded was... That monstrous face getting closer. When I came to, I was about ten feet off the ground, hanging from these moldy ropes in the middle of the woods outside the College. It took an hour of me screaming for help, before someone found me.

Of course, He was there with me the entire time, silently mocking me. I couldn't distinguish him from the trees at first. Everything was spinning, my head was pounding, and I was tired. I'm still tired, and nauseous. I don't even know why... I've been throwing up all day, and its been filled with this black shit.

Fuck it, I'm going to bed. No energy to keep typing his shit. It's hopeless anyway, isn't it?

No Longer Alone

Fuck, I should have been paying more attention to this blog. I did not delete your comment Gray, which means that my account here is still not secure. Fantastic... But there is some good news at last. Carlos has finally shown up, alive. We've been... Discussing the situation. Slender Man and some other thing were stalking him throughout Christmas break. The other thing he was describing was a... Well, in his words it was "A fucking man spider thing on the side of my fucking house, man!" Empty holes for eyes, shiny black carapace, multiple gangly limbs. If I were a betting man, and I'm really not, I would say that it was the same other thing I saw in the forest, after the crash. Carlos, for some reason, thinks it might be "The Spinner" that the idiot fratboy cult worshiped. I don't think so, personally. That cult shit couldn't possibly be right, could it?

Still no word from, or of, Kruger... We discussed it and, I gotta be realistic here. If he hasn't shown up by now, he probably isn't showing up at all. My bet? Carlos mentioned experiencing something similar to that period of time where it was... Like... I was trapped in a second, with no one around. If we both dealt with it, maybe Kruger did too? Maybe Kruger... Didn't make it through his.

So we need to fucking find any of those others that watched the video with us, ASAP. Carlos knew a few of them. Alaric Brooks, Cody Padgett, Gilberto Garcia and Wendy Fielding are all dead. Reported missing, and there is an FBI Agent running around the campus asking questions about them. Carlos agrees with me on this... Telling the FBI anything would be pointless. We don't exactly have any physical evidence that we are being stalked by a nine foot tall faceless anorexic, and his pet spider God. Assuming... They are, in fact, working together. Which, we don't know for sure, really. Of course, that being said, we are trying to figure out anything to tell this guy that might point him in the right direction. That there is actually something out there killing people, and that we are in real fucking danger...We just don't know what we can do to point him in the right direction, short of risking his own... Infection, I guess...

For right now, all we can do is wait and try not to die, if that faceless fucker suddenly gets hostile again. I do feel a bit better now that there are two of us though... But does safety in numbers really count against something like the Slender Man?

Why do Wolves Worship a Spider?

So, it turns out that Carlos has made some buddies in the Timberwolves. Victor Kruger and Jacob Kase, are their names. I've seen them around, but don't really know them personally. Kruger is a strong looking guy with a perpetual mean look, and weird colored brown hair and hazel eyes, while Kase is a smaller, thinner dark haired guy who seems pretty quiet for a Timberwolf. Anyway, they invited Carlos to a bonfire gathering at 3 AM, and decided I could come too. Well. I promised the Judge.

It wasn't really a... Party though. I mean, I had heard of some of the really weird shit that the Timberwolves did and the College allowed for some reason. In this case, it was the Annual offering to The Spinner. What is the Spinner? I have no idea. Kase told me it was an urban legend with several different supposed origin stories. Most of the Wolves basically treat it like a religion worshiping Spider-Man. There were about a 100 people at the bonfire, and some of them were even wearing black robes with the hoods up. It would have looked very cult-y if most of them weren't completely shitfaced and trying to scare their friends by sneaking up on them in masks with the robes. Still, I gotta admit being a little creeped out by the couple of them in the robes that were treating this seriously. Most of them had Flashlights, except for a couple of guys close to the bonfire, who had actual torches.

So, the Bonfire is supposed to be a sacrifice to the Spinner, to keep him from... Exacting bloody vengeance of some shit. The way Kase explained it, I don't think anyone in the Wolves actually really knows why they do this little ritual every year. Not that they do it right anyway. Kase said they don't know what the offering is supposed to be, so they just kind of throw in old clothes, monopoly money, booze bottles, food and any old shit they don't want. There IS a set volume though, and the "High Priest" or whatever he was supposed to be, noticed it. Apparently, this year, someone's offering portion was smaller than it needed to be. High Priest Guy asked that person to step forward or suffer The Spinner's wrath and anger. No one did, and the Wolves started making death jokes.
During all this Carlos was busy helping Kruger with emptying his booze bottle offering. I was ready to leave, honestly.

But then the High Priest guy kind of shrugged and started throwing shit into the fire. I did ask Kase why the school allows this stuff, and he told me he doesn't know. But he did point out that one of the friggen School Board members was at the bonfire. Thomas Corvin who, if I recall, is a stupidly rich guy who owns the majority of the county. Still, I don't quite think supporting a pseudo-cult is something he supposed to be doing, so I really have to wonder why he was here. According to Kase, he never went to this college, so... I dunno. The whole thing just felt off to me.

Starting to rethink my promise of becoming more social, if this is how people are.
